I have always been a crafty person. In high school my friends would compare me to Martha Stewart because I was always working on one craft or another. What can I say? I enjoy creating. I work with all sorts of mediums. One of my favorite projects is to repurpose something that has been discarded. I enjoy the challenge of taking something bound for the dumpster and instead making it something bound to be displayed. I knit, sew, bake, cook, build, design stationary, jewelry and home decor, but, pottery is my first love.
From cups to bowls, and pitchers to pasta dishes, everything on this site is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe and crafted by my own two hands. Each piece of pottery is literally handmade and one of a kind. Therefore, there can be slight variations in height and width of products. Every piece is made individually from specialized clay designed to keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold. I have strategically designed the handle to be as comfortable as possible by including a custom thumbrest and handle which will always be cool to the touch.
I am confident you will enjoy your purchase, but if for any reason you do not absolutely love something from TGDT, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am an artist first - and I want you to enjoy my products as much as I enjoy creating them.
